On this page you can find links to books and articles I’ve published in print and online. I hope they are helpful to you!
My most recent book is called Celebrate Sunday! In it I talk about 52 different ways to help your family really delight in the Sabbath. I also wrote an Ensign article called “Helping Children Delight in the Sabbath” on the same topic.
I love the faithful women in the scriptures. Here is an article I wrote about the women post-resurrection who didn’t know Jesus personally but were vital to the early Christian church. They are awesome. It is called “Did you catch the inspiring conviction of 20 women who worked with Paul?
The women who knew Christ during his life and were with him till the end-at the cross, also teach us great lessons. Here is a Liahona article I wrote with my husband on lessons we can learn from the women from Galilee. My favorite part is the beautiful poem at the end.
I hope I am like these faithful women and I want to find every reason possible to teach of Jesus. Here is an LDSliving article I wrote on commemorating Good Friday called “An Easy Good Friday tradition for your family with food, simple symbols, and scriptures.” I love focusing on holidays, especially under-appreciated religious holidays as a way to joyfully teach the gospel in the home. The church blog published a post I wrote about Extending the Easter Season. The Easter season is a beautiful time to focus on Jesus and I have many of my own blog posts with resources for families and individuals who want to preach/teach and love Jesus during the Easter season. See this blog page that highlights Holy Week, music for the Easter season, recipes, Good Friday, Palm Sunday and Passover, what modern prophets say about Holy Week and more.
When I speak to youth groups, I have enjoyed talking about the importance of guy-girl relationships. My talk, “Expect the Respect” led to my writing the book What Guys Need to Know about Girls / What Girls Need to Know About Guys with my husband John Hilton III.
In this past I was a regular contributor at the blog She Teaches Fearlessly.
